What a Z-score means
A Z-score shows how far your mark is from the average, measured in standard deviations: Z = (your mark − mean) ÷ standard deviation. Your combined Z-score is simply the sum of your three subject Z-scores. This calculator doesn't include district/cutoff data since those change every year — use it purely to work out your own Z-score once you have the official mean and SD figures for your exam year.
