What you can do
- Add text anywhere on a page — choose the font, size, bold/italic and colour.
- Add today's date, check marks and crosses with one click.
- Add images and signatures — draw, type or upload your signature.
- Cover up a mistake with a whiteout box, then type the correction over it.
- Fill in form fields if the PDF has them (they light up in blue automatically).
- Undo, redo, zoom, and work on any page of a multi-page document.
How it works
- Click Open the PDF editor and choose your file (or drag it in).
- Pick a tool at the top, then click on the page where you want it.
- Press Download PDF. Your edited copy is saved straight to your device.
Why is it free — and why nothing is uploaded
Most "free" PDF sites send your file to their servers, process it there, and charge you to get it back. This editor does the opposite: the whole tool runs inside your browser, so there is no server cost to recover and nothing to paywall. Your document never leaves your computer or phone — and you can check that yourself (the editor has a "How to verify" button). It even keeps working if you switch off your internet after the page loads.
The editor page itself is kept completely free of ads and trackers. Ads only appear on pages like this one, which is how this site stays free.
Questions
Is it really free?
Yes. No watermark, no page limit, no sign-up and no payment step when you download.
Is my PDF uploaded anywhere?
No. It is opened and edited entirely in your browser, and the file is never sent to any server.
Can I type in Sinhala or Tamil?
Yes. Sinhala, Tamil and other scripts are supported. They are added to the PDF as sharp images of the text, so they display correctly everywhere — but that text can't be selected or searched afterwards.
Does it work on my phone?
Yes, on modern phone browsers. Tap a tool, then tap the page. For fine placement, zooming in on the page helps.
