How this is calculated
Your annual salary (monthly × 12) has the personal relief subtracted, then the remainder is taxed progressively — each portion of income is taxed at the rate for its own bracket, not the whole amount at the top rate. The result is divided back down to a monthly figure.
This estimate covers only APIT on regular monthly employment income. It does not include EPF/ETF (use the EPF/ETF calculator), non-cash benefits, or bonus/lump-sum payments which use a different IRD table.
